Toledo, OH
The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc., a premier Civil Design Engineering and Environmental Consulting company with offices located throughout Ohio and Michigan has an opening for a Recruitment and Retention Specialist based out of its Maumee, OH office. The role requires a self-motivated, organized, team player who is detail-oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, strong collaboration skills, and has demonstrated professional conduct. This role also requires the ability to be discreet in dealing with sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality in all areas. The ability to travel to other MSG offices (throughout Ohio and Michigan) is required.
The Recruitment and Retention Specialist will:
• Utilize sourcing tools to expand talent pipelines for open jobs and future needs including social media resources, virtual and in-person hiring events, job boards, high schools, colleges and universities, industry related sites, etc.
• Make improvements to internal recruitment efforts.
• Source and screen qualified candidates. Determine which candidates are passed to hiring managers. Manage interview schedules.
• Work with Marketing department to create and implement marketing strategies to attract passive candidates.
• Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict recruiting activity.
• Work closely with Universities to manage the co-op programs.
• Manage and process open position requisitions for operations leaders.
• Research salary information.
• Develop retention interview process.
• Analyze company trends to continuously improve retention.
• Provide internal feedback on how to improve employee retention.
• Collaborate with operation leaders on employee surveys and employee focus group meetings to support and provide guidance and develop action plans to address employee feedback.
