Enviornmental Project Manager
Canton, MI, Grand Rapids, MI
MSG is looking for a Project Manager with our Environmental Team operating out of Canton & Grand Rapids, Michigan!
In this role, the candidate will perform remedial investigations, as well as construction oversight, system operation and maintenance (O&M).
Requirements:
• Five or more years’ experience in Environmental Sciences / Engineering field.
• Ability to work in a teaming environment, on a wide variety of environmental projects.
• Positive client interaction skills, detailed oriented, excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience & knowledge in conducting soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil gas and indoor air sampling.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state (i.e. Part 201 Environmental Remediation and Part 213 Leaking Underground Storage Tanks of
NREPA), and local environmental regulations.
• Project management experience.
• OSHA 40 hour and HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
Additional Information and Duties:
• Work directly with & understand a variety of clients.
• Operate within diverse projects, while staying organized.
• Field work may be required, as well as travel from jobsites and our different offices.
• Lead, develop and assist scientists / engineers through projects.
• Oversee projects from beginning to end, meeting all needs of the client.
