The main responsibility includes assisting with drill rig operations for geotechnical and environmental investigations. Additional responsibilities include construction materials (soil, concrete, etc.) testing, construction inspection, and equipment maintenance and repair. Must be able to lift 75 lbs., work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be able to travel locally and regionally typically 1-3 days at a time. Lodging and per diem provided. One to two years’ experience in the construction industry preferred; or training is available. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record. Heavy equipment/drill rig operating experience a plus. CDL Class A with air brake and tanker endorsement is a plus. Position advancement to Driller may be available.
