Our MSG operation in West Virginia is looking for an experienced engineer for the design and detailed plan preparation of steel & concrete bridges (reinforced concrete & prestressed concrete). Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Retaining wall design, - Hydrologic & hydraulic studies involved in bridge design. - Miscellaneous structural design, and bridge inspection. - The candidate must possess strong leadership, interpersonally, communication skills (oral & written), - Work in a teaming environment and will work from our Charleston office. Requirements: - The candidate must also have the ability to work at heights above 100 feet. - A degree in Civil Engineering (or approved related field) is required. - At least five years of experience is preferred. - A PE license is preferred, but not required. Experience considered a plus includes WVDOH Bridge Design and the use of AASHTO, AISC, PCI, ACI and other related design codes, construction engineering, bridge inspection and load rating, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, misc. geotechnical design, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, LARS, MDX, Merlin-DASH, STAAD/RISA, LEAP Bridge Software, HEC-RAS, MathCAD, and Microsoft based programs.
